WORDLE
This is the first paragraph of a tale from Grimm Brothers called "The Frog Prince". I have created a word cloud below with it, and from the words given in the cloud students must predict what will happen next. The can work in pairs, and each pair must predict a part of a story, reading the word cloud and writing down how it would continue. This is a very useful tool to practice reading, and compliting the activity they will also practice writing.

Congratulations Ane!
ResponderEliminarI see you have used one of the authoring tools we have seen in the units to make your own resource. This is a very good idea to make in a nice visual interface an educational task.
It will help students to work collaboratively and improve their writing.

Hi Ane!
ResponderEliminarThis activity is really useful to practise both reading and writing skills. As you said they can work in pairs and after finishing the writing tast, they can expand the story using their own ideas and vocabulary. At the same time, new stories can be read in class, so their mates listen to them and complete some kind of questionnaire to check listening comprehension.
Well done!
Regards,
María
Hi Ane,
ResponderEliminarThis activity I really like to work with children, so they tend to put the words in the correct order, as in Spanish often not placed in the same way.
I really like your blog and especially at first glance, I like that color.
Good job.
A greeting.
